There is divine mystery woven into the fabric of human existence:

We are people of the divine and we are people of the dust. The spiritual realm is intertwined with the physical world. Our body and spirit are tangled in a beautiful dance.

Creator God formed us from the earth’s dust and tasked us with tending it, gently stewarding its resources,

It is we who are entrusted with maintaining balance and harmony. It is we who hold the responsibility of ensuring a world that is kind, gracious, merciful and just.

Our bodies resonate with the rhythms of creation—the rising of the sun, the phases of the moon, the cycles of planting and harvest and dormancy. This connection reminds us that we are part of something far greater than ourselves and the small moment we’re in.

It also reminds us that we have a responsibility to shape the moment we’re in.
