Julie Wildschut is an assistant professor of engineering at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is the project engineer for Plaster Creek Stewards, using engineering to create sustainable, healthy communities where all parts of creation flourish. Julie collaborates with Plaster Creek Stewards on watershed management projects such as natural stream restoration techniques and optimizing green infrastructure performance. She also researches sustainable spring capture and disinfection practices for rural communities with partners in Ecuador.
