Katie Roelofs and Emily Helder

Katie Ritsema Roelofs is a Korean adoptee living in Washington, D. C. She is a commissioned pastor in the Christian Reformed Church of North America and serves in the denomination's Office of Worship. She is passionate about music and worship, particularly the intersection of liturgy and life. Dr. Emily Helder is a clinical neuropsychologist and professor of psychology at Calvin University. Her research and clinical work focus on adoption and foster care, she is the co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Adoption, and the host of the Adoption Roundtable podcast.
