Submission Guidelines
The Reformed Journal welcomes unsolicited submissions in a variety of categories. Submissions should be in the spirit of the Journal, which publishes Christian writing that delights readers and engages the world in a Reformed way.
Please note that the Journal cannot pay for any material published/posted. However, the writer retains joint copyright to any posted submission and may publish elsewhere.
All submissions should be in a format that is editable. MS Word is preferred.
Blog posts, which appear each day, should be less than 1000 words and may be sent to blog-submissions@reformedjournal.com
Both longer essays (of up to 4000 words) and short pieces of fiction (again, no longer than 4000 words) may be sent to submissions@reformedjournal.com. Essays appear weekly while fiction is posted periodically.
Shorter rather than longer pieces of poetry are welcome and may be sent to editor-poetry@reformedjournal.com
As reviews of books and other media are regularly assigned, please first check with the review editors before submitting a piece: submissions@reformedjournal.com
The Reformed Journal does NOT accept sponsored pieces for publishing.
Please send any questions to editors@reformedjournal.com
