E. Kathleen Booher is a retired educator living in West Michigan. She holds a doctorate in English Education from Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, and on behalf of the New Jersey Writing Project, she trained teachers in several states in progressive strategies for teaching writing as a process.
In her years teaching and working in educational leadership, her writing explored profession-related issues. In retirement, Kathleen mostly shares memoir, travelogues, and essays in circles of fellow writers, including Peninsula Writers, a Michigan group she helped found in 1984. Several of her unfinished projects have been marinating for some time and are nearly ready to be prepared and served.
