Laura de Jong is a doctoral student at Fuller Theological Seminary, studying the intersection of rituals, funerals, and belonging. She is ordained in the Christian Reformed Church of North America, and has served as the preaching pastor for two congregations. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with her husband, dog, and two cats.
