Melody Meeter is a retired minister, ordained in the Reformed Church in America. After seminary she completed a chaplain residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital and then worked as a chaplain in several hospitals, specializing in hospice, palliative care and ethics consultation. From 2006-2020 she served as director for the spiritual care department at Lutheran Healthcare (now NYU Brooklyn). She and her husband, Daniel, moved to New Paltz, New York in 2021 to be near their children and grandchildren. They are enjoying all the new connections with pastors and congregants in the Classis of Mid-Hudson.
