Peter Hahne's Schluss mit lustig: Das Ende der Spassgesellschaft (Stop the Merriment: The End of the Fun Society, Johannis Verlag, 2004) is, at least for Americans concerned with the German cultural and religious scene, a curious, telling little volume.
