We are taking a break at Reformed Journal this week, so here are two previously published poems that capture the essence of summer.

Blackberry Blood by Sarah Kalthoff Sims is a poem about August, but even in July, you can feel the heat and taste the blackberries. You can also hear Sarah talk about this poem on the Reformed Journal Podcast.

Miracle by Kate Bolt has plums in it as well as all things good. You can hear Kate talk about this poem on the Reformed Journal Podcast.
